Our management team
David O'Donoghue, Managing Director, spent 13 years as the general manager of PDL Electronics Ltd and was instrumental in seeing the company achieve significant growth, particularly in the export area. David was also responsible for overseeing the company exploration and development of leading edge new products.
Mark Duncan, Sales and Marketing Director, held sales and management roles for more than five years with PDL Electronics Ltd, servicing both the domestic and Pacific Region markets. This expertise is supported by a solid background in the industrial electrical field.
Brent Sheridan, Technical Director, brings a diverse background of knowledge acquired in motor control applications and industrial automation. Following seven years operating in sales within the New Zealand market, recent years saw Brent expand into an international sales position for both PDL Electronics Ltd and AuCom Electronics Ltd.
Andy Buckley, Manager – Engineering, has vast experience in all aspects of motor control, gained from years of specialist engineering in this field. Andy was a senior applications engineer for PDL Electronics, and was electrical engineer for UK company BICC Cables. More recently he has held the position of project engineer for an electrical contractor within the Hawkes Bay.
Richard Scrivener, Manager - Sales, is arguably New Zealand’s most experienced variable speed drive sales person. Richard comes to Drive Dynamics with more than 23 years experience in the sales and marketing of AC motor control equipment. He held a number of senior management roles in PDL Electronics ranging from sales, marketing and export market development. Following the acquisition of PDL by Schneider Electric, he transferred to Schneider, where his principal role was Fonterra Global Account Manager.
Keith Brock - Northern Regional Manager, has more than 26 years experience in the electrical field gained while operating his own electrical service business, through extensive sales experience while working for PDL Electronics and Connector Systems. He also has significant drives service experience having held the position of service manager for an opposition service agent in recent years.
